Community Engagement
The Lincolnshire Autism Awareness Project team cares deeply about connecting with members of our local Illinois community and bringing important topics related to autism to a wide audience. As such, we strive to work with others to spread its message by any means, such as a local fundraiser/donation drive or a speaking event at different locations.
Our team is more than receptive to any requests for partnership (e.g. fundraising events, speaking events at specific requested locations) or the discussion of content related to autism (e.g. online educational posts, video essays on provided content, speaking about specifically requested topics at events). This sense of community and active outreach is encouraged on part of the LAAP team. The success of our message, which could change the lives of countless individuals that may be neurodivergent, is built off of the backbone of awareness: You!
